2nd Place + 3 Sponsor Awards

We went to ZTGK without really knowing what to expect. Somehow, we ended up on the podium among 46 teams, which still feels a bit crazy. Our team, Placeholders, presented Paper Blades, a roguelike with RTS elements set in feudal Japan. The player commands a squad of origami samurai using their voice.

We worked on the game for only four months, but it quickly became our team’s favourite project. It is also a project we want to continue developing in the future.

During the event, we met many great people and received several awards:
